XbToolsIII, an additional multi-purpose library for Xbase++
is designed to provide a maximum level of compatibility to CA-ToolsIII.
With the XbToolsIII, porting of existing DOS solutions which use
the functionalities of the CA-ToolsIII library will become in most

This part provides serial communication and ready to use protocols
like XModem or CRC. Although serial communication is completely different
in 32-bit operating environments compared to DOS, you can write your
own file transfer utility or proprietary protocols to transfer data
to/from remote systems. 
Furthermore the XbToolsIII includes support for the NetWare Requester,
which enables the developer to design applications that have direct
access to the 32-bit NetWare Requester Client-API. Jump on the bandwagon

To complete the picture, the XbToolsIII also supports NetBIOS. You
can easily use the point to point facilities provided by the NetBIOS
protocol.
