Database Modeller

Two Way - Visual Design
VX comes with a fully integrated two-way database modeller, storing your complete data model in an open dictionary if you want. Using the modeller, you can design your application's data model and data access. The data modeller is integrated into the Visual Designer in order to allow an easy connection of visual components with your data.



Components and Object Inspector!
Similar to the process of inspecting Visual components, the Database modeller takes full advantage of the Object Inspector/Editor. Properties of DacSession() and DacPagedDatastore() components can be manipulated in accordance with your application's needs in the visual design environment. Data Binding is supported right out of the box by all visual components. This support is a given regardless whether you associate a browser with a specific DacPagedDatastore(), or you choose to associate a single entry field with a certain field of a table.

Industry standard XML schema - XSD format!
Cutting-edge XML support is provided when it comes to your application's specific views. All dynamic views are represented using XML/XSD schema definitions, which are automatically generated by the database modeller. This way, you can exchange your data model with others using the XSD schema description as specified by the W3C.
